My Review:
In Trust we meet Megan and her friend Jenny as they are visiting London for a few days to shop for Jenny's wedding. They decide to go out for a drink and Megan meets Mark. What ensues is a "holiday romance" where Megan spends the rest of her time in London with Mark, knowing that she will have to return home soon, which is 4 hours away. Megan has been hurt by her former boyfriend and has trouble trusting Mark and his intentions, especially with the other things going on in her life. Mark tries to prove to Megan that he wants to be with her, no matter what is going on in her life. I enjoyed reading this story because I like that it is set in England and the author maintains the English vernacular. (That makes me smile!) There are some unexpected elements in this story that were good as well. I liked the overall premise of the book, I just felt like we spent a lot of time at the beginning of the relationship between Megan and Mark and the end of the story went very quickly. I wish we would have gotten more details toward the end of the book, especially leading up to the climax of the story. I did appreciate Mark's POV at the end, but, again, I would have liked more. 3.5 out of 5!
